Another long weekend, another weekend I’ll never forget!
I’m sitting behind my desk at the office staring blankly out the window watching the ever changing drops of rain trail down the sides of the glass. I feel if I watched them for long enough I’d eventually be put into a subtle state of trance or meditation and if I could I’d sit here {exteriorly mindless, interiorly mindful} and contemplate the meaning of life. But as always, there’s work to be done…
On Thursday night I went out with my beautiful friend Amanda. It was great catching up with her as I hadn’t been seeing as much of her as I used to. But now that she’s moved to town I hope we’ll be seeing lots more of each other. We first went to The Reserve, where much later in the night I saw someone I was hoping to see {but not hoping to see at the same time}. I think I may have unintentionally started a bit of a love triangle. Then we popped in at Trinity for the Playboy Party. I’ve never been to one before and was curious to see what it was about, but upon arrival I already knew it was going to disappoint my expectations. Luckily, thanks to some generous people we know, we never have to pay for these things… ;-)
On Friday {even though I had only gone to bed at 5am once again} I woke up at 10.30am filled with excitement as my friend from Johannesburg {Jax} would be arriving shortly! I really had the best time with her, and I miss her already… Here is my weekend in pictures:
